Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment only. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, day-admit appointments are available. This means you could bring your pet in the morning and leave your pet with us for a few hours while they are being seen and treated by one of our veterinarians. Usually we will ask you to bring them in for day admission in the morning between 7am and 9am so the doctor can examine the patient during the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is finished, they will personally give you a call to go over the diagnosis, treatments and any follow up procedures. Then, when you come to pick up your pet discharge instructions will be given by the doctor along with any medications.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet before entering our office. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier.

Payment Policy

 

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. When patients require hospitalization we will require payment of half the overall cost of the provided estimate before services are rendered. All charges are required to be paid in full before patients return home. For your convenience, we accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and cash. We no longer accept American Express or checks. Additionally, we accept CareCredit through GE Financial Services as a monthly billing option. Applications are available at the reception desk or on the CareCredit website and can be processed within minutes to open an account.

Patient Arrival Policy

 

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.  All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
